Spotlight on Small Business

We believe small businesses are crucial to a community. Dr. Kokabi, Dr. Monell, and Dr. Roberts all grew up in small business families. Dr. K spent his teenage years working at his father's clothing store on Buford Highway. This was the inspiration for our Spotlight on Small Business initiative. Through this complementary program we seek to bring attention to our patients who own small businesses and do our best to help promote them. Please let us know if you own a small business or offer a service and would like to be featured in this program at no charge.

02-22-2023---EXCITED TO SPONSOR "FIDDLER ON THE ROOF" AT CHAMBLEE HIGH SCHOOL

Brookhaven Family Dentistry and Dr. Andrew Kokabi are honored to be a sponsor for Chamblee High School's performance of "Fiddler On The Roof." The play will run from February 23rd to February 25th. A special shout out to our friend John Quinby who stars in this production :)
02-06-2023---SUCCESSFUL CLOTHING DRIVE FOR THE ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY OF CHAMBLEE

Brookhaven Family Dentistry and Dr. Andrew Kokabi are excited to announce the completion of a successful clothing drive. We happily collected clothes from our patients all through out the month of January. These clothes will go to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Chamblee. They will give them to those in need.
With a mission to provide help and hope to neighbors in need, St. Vincent de Paul Georgia has been serving individuals, families and communities across Georgia since 1903, stabilizing those in crisis and creating paths to self-sufficiency. Focusing on hunger, housing, and health, St. Vincent de Paul Georgia meets basic needs, removes barriers to stability, and creates paths to self-sufficiency through direct services, education, and empowerment to provide help and hope to neighbors in need in Georgia.

Brookhaven Family Dentistry is proud to be Atlanta's premiere Saturday dental practice. For over ten years we have provided Saturday dental appointments and now we are taking it a step further. We are excited to announce that we will be open almost all Saturdays. We are happy to offer dental cleanings, deep cleanings, examinations, fillings, crowns, extractions, emergency exams, and night guards on Saturdays. So you no longer need to take the kids out of school or take time off of work. We are here to serve you.

Brookhaven Family Dentistry and Dr. Andrew Kokabi are proud to announce a $2,000 donation to Catholic Charities Atlanta. Catholic Charities Atlanta provides transformative services that enable families to overcome barriers and achieve self-sufficiency. As a child of immigrants, Dr. Kokabi is excited to be helping an organization that directly helps a lot of the immigrant population here in Chamblee. As a mission driven dental practice, Brookhaven Family Dentistry strives to not only provide quality dentistry, but to also make a significant positive impact in the Brookhaven and Chamblee community.

12-17-2022---$1,000 FOR OUR HOLIDAY PARTNER: THE FOSTER CARE SUPPORT FOUNDATION

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful patients who helped us raise $1,000 for the Foster Care Support Foundation through our Brighten Your Smile, Better the World campaign. The Foster Care Support Foundation's goal is to help abused and neglected children experience a kind and nurturing daily life while displaced in foster and relative care. And their mission is to strengthen the ability of foster and relative care families to meet the needs of their displaced children by implementing a community-based resource and education that can decrease the need for institutionalized care. 11-22-2022---ANOTHER YEAR, ANOTHER PARTNERSHIP WITH ASHFORD PARK ELEMENTARY

Brookhaven Family Dentistry and Dr. Andrew Kokabi are once again excited to announce that we have partnered with Ashford Park Elementary School through our Brighten Your Smile, Better the World campaign. This year our patients helped us raise $1,000 for the local school. We have hundreds of patients from the Ashford Park neighborhood. We are happy to be giving back to the community that has given us so much. We look forward to continuing this partnership into the future.

Brookhaven Family Dentistry is once again excited to be partnering with the Huntley Hills Elementary and Montessori School PTA. This time we are sponsoring the annual Tigerthon Fall Fundraiser. A big thanks to our friend Deborah Hakes for helping us get involved.
We have many patients that live in Huntley Hills and we are thankful for them. We are excited to give back to the community that has given us their trust. We look forward to more partnerships with Huntley Hills Elementary, Montgomery Elementary School, Ashford Park Elementary School, Chamblee Middle School, and Chamblee High School.
10-17-2022---OLA PRESCHOOL FALL FESTIVAL

This past weekend was the OLA Preschool Fall Festival. Brookhaven Family Dentistry is once again excited to have been a sponsor for this event. We sponsored the Face Painting Station. In this video, our friend Caroline Mealor Tate talks about what is happening at the school and what the funds raised at this event will go towards.
We have a unique connection to OLA. The founder of our practice, Dr. Robert Pasersky, was an OLA parishioner for 47 years. We are happy to honor his legacy and keep this community partnership going strong into the future. Since 2009(when Dr. Kokabi took over the practice), we have sponsored over $8,000 to the OLA Bulletin. We have also sponsored OLA’s “Movies Under the Stars”, “Dancing in the Streets”, and Preschool Fall Festival
